HERISTAYS HOMES
Heristays operates over 300 short-term rental listings across six locations within Lagos, one of the most competitive hospitality markets in Nigeria. Despite strong operational capacity and extensive inventory, the brand required clearer positioning and a structured digital growth system to compete effectively and drive consistent bookings.

The Problem
The challenge behind the work
Heristays was managing a large and diverse portfolio of over 300 listings spread across multiple locations. This scale created complexity in communication and made it difficult to present a unified and compelling brand message. At the same time, the Lagos hospitality market is saturated with premium and luxury apartment brands promoting five-star interiors and high-end experiences. A strategic audit of the portfolio revealed a critical insight. While the apartments were not positioned as ultra-luxury, they offered comfort, functionality, and a genuine home-like experience. However, this strength was not clearly articulated in the brand’s messaging. Without defined positioning, Heristays risked competing in a category that did not reflect its true value proposition.
What We Did
The strategic and creative response
Onetouch began by refining Heristays’ market positioning. Rather than forcing the brand into the premium luxury segment, we repositioned it around comfort, accessibility, and functional living. The messaging was tailored to attract individuals seeking a home-like environment rather than a purely luxury aesthetic. One of Heristays’ most valuable assets was an 89-unit lifestyle facility that offered far more than accommodation. With an in-house restaurant, spa, gym, pool, ballroom, private offices, meeting rooms, and boardrooms, the property functioned as a fully integrated live-work environment. We elevated this as a core differentiator and developed a narrative centered on integrated living. The facility was positioned as a self-contained ecosystem where guests can live, work, relax, and connect within one cohesive space. To formalize this repositioning, we crafted a defining brand line: More than a stay. It is Heristays. This statement reinforced that the brand delivers more than accommodation. It communicates comfort, lifestyle convenience, and a complete living experience under one roof. With the positioning clarified, we restructured the brand’s content and strategy. A performance-driven social media system was implemented across platforms, covering content direction, production, messaging, and audience targeting. Visual storytelling emphasized warmth, everyday comfort, and functional amenities, while strategically highlighting the lifestyle hub as an all-in-one destination for living and working. Communication was optimized to drive direct inquiries and bookings, ensuring that visibility translated into measurable engagement and business outcomes.
The Outcome
What changed after the work
Within 90 days of implementing the strategy, Heristays achieved measurable growth across key digital indicators. The brand generated over 3 million views, representing a 156% increase in visibility. Reach expanded to more than 770,000 accounts, reflecting a 123.6% growth in audience exposure. Over 20,000 users visited the brand’s profile, marking nearly a 400% increase in audience interest and intent. Most importantly, the campaign produced over 700 direct inquiries, demonstrating that the repositioning and performance strategy translated into tangible business demand. Beyond the metrics, Heristays established a clearer identity within the Lagos hospitality market. By focusing on comfort and integrated lifestyle living, the brand moved into a differentiated space aligned with its actual strengths, creating a foundation for sustained and scalable growth.
